Day 1: Arrive Anchorage, Alaska

Arrive in Anchorage and transfer to Girdwood, where you check in to your hotel. Enjoy activities on offer at your resort, such as a ride up Mount Alyeska on the Alyeska Aerial Tram to take in the breathtaking views. This evening, gather for a welcome reception and dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 2: Kenai Peninsula | Float Trip
Meals: Breakfast and Lunch

This morning, relax on a float trip along the Portage River, where you may have the opportunity to view hanging glaciers and a variety of wildlife. This afternoon, enjoy a salmon bake, and then visit the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. This nonprofit organization rehabilitates injured or orphaned animals and returns them to the wild. During your visit, keep your camera and binoculars at the ready as you may sight bears, moose, bison, elk and a variety of birds.
Day 3: Kenai Peninsula | Fjord Cruise & Train Ride
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Accommodation: Hotel Alyeska
Cruise the Kenai Fjords National Park, and watch for calving glaciers. You may see humpback whales, orcas, puffins and sea lions at close range, and glimpse bald eagles overhead. Ride the Alaska Railroad GoldStar Dome train, which features an open-air platform and a glass-covered observation deck for sensational views of the countryside.
Day 4: Redoubt Bay/Talkeetna | Bear Sanctuary

Fly by float plane over Cook Inlet to Redoubt Bay Bear Sanctuary, where you may see bears coming out to feed as you enjoy the rugged scenery. Later, explore the quaint downtown of Talkeetna and continue to your accommodations in a rustic-modern lodge that overlooks Denali (formerly Mount McKinley) and Denali National Park.
Day 5: Talkeetna | Fishing Fun

Visit Kahiltna Birch Works with your A&K Young Explorer’s Guide to see how birch sap comes out of trees and then enjoy a tasting of birch candy, ice cream and mustard. Back at your lodge, enjoy lunch. Later, head out to fish the Susitna River, its waters teeming with salmon and trout, amid the beautiful surrounding landscapes. Cap your day with a Scenic Sundowner as you enjoy gorgeous views of the Alaska Range from the relaxing deck of your lodge.
Day 6: Talkeetna | Kayaking, Hiking & Glacier Walk

Continue to explore the Denali area with a kayak trip on the placid waters of Byers Lake. Hike on a well-maintained forest trail as your guide introduces Alaska’s plant and animal life along the way. Next, climb aboard a nimble aircraft for a thrilling flight over the peaks and glaciers of Denali National Park, as your pilot, via two-way headset, explains the highlights you see. Land on a glacier’s surface (weather permitting), and disembark to experience snow-veiled peaks stretching in every direction.
Day 7: Talkeetna/Anchorage | Champion Husky Team

Depart for Anchorage, stopping en route to visit the kennels of four-time Iditarod champion Martin Buser and his Alaskan husky team. The annual long-distance sled-dog race is run every March from Anchorage to Nome, with mushers and their teams of 16 dogs often facing blizzards, gale-force winds and sub-zero temperatures along the way. Later, tour Anchorage, and meet the chef who prepares your farewell dinner.

It’s a worldwide symbol of the Hawaiian Islands! Afterwards, visit Kahala Estates, a large concentration of some of the most expensive real estate and beachfront properties in Hawaii in which many celebrities and business moguls vacation homes.
Continue with the Halona “Blow Hole” Lookout and see how this volcanic lava tube propels water into the sky like a whale’s blowhole! Make a stop at the Waimanalo Town, a quaint, scenic town is known for its local flavor and numerous plant nurseries and agricultural lots that extend back toward the Koolau Mountains, followed by another stop at the Nuuanu Pali Lookout, the bewitchingly scenic lookout was also the site of the Battle of Nuuanu, one of the bloodiest conflicts in Hawaiian history
