Day 1 : International outbound flight
Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Beijing.
Day 2 : Beijing
Arrive in Beijing today where you'll be greeted on arrival and taken to your hotel. After some time to rest and recover from your flight take a tour of some of Beijing's most stunning sights - the Temple of Heaven and the Tiananmen Square.
Day 3 : Beijing
Today is your chance to experience the magnificent Great Wall of China. Your day finishes with a feast featuring the famous Peking Duck.
Day 4 : On-board train
Visit the Forbidden City today for a great insight into the lives of the Chinese emperors. In the evening your rail journey will begin - depart from Beijing and head towards the Gobi Desert.
Day 5 : On-board train
After crossing the Chinese-Mongolian border continue towards the great green steppes of Mongolia by your private train.
Day 6 : Ulaan Baatar
Arrive in Ulaan Baatar and explore some of the city's highlights today. Finish your day with a traditional Mongolian music performance.
Day 7 : Ulaan Baatar
Today you will visit the Buddhist Gandan Monastery and enjoy more of the local scenery.
Day 8 : On-board train
Join the main route of the Trans-Siberian Railroad in Ulan Ude and continue across the valley of Selenga.
Day 9 : On-board train
Today is your opportunity to take a dip in the world's largest freshwater lake - Lake Baikal - or simply enjoy the spectacular scenery.
Day 10 : Irkutsk
Leave the train for the day and check into a hotel in Irkutsk where you'll enjoy a tour of "the Paris of Siberia".
Day 11 : On-board train
A day spent onboard the train whilst crossing Eastern Siberia.
Day 12 : On-board train
Explore Novosibirsk today - Siberia's largest city.
Day 13 : On-board train
You'll stop in Ekaterinburg today for a chance to learn about the tragic fate of the last Russian emperors.
Day 14 : On-board train
Arrive in Kazan and explore this historic city.
Day 15 : Moscow
On arrival in Moscow check into your hotel. You'll visit the beautiful Kremlin later on and finish the day with an evening tour of the city.
Day 16 : St Petersburg
Explore more of Moscow's iconic sights today and bid your journey farewell before leaving for the station for your train to St Petersburg. On arrival you are transferred to your hotel.
Day 17 : St Petersburg
Make your way to the Hermitage and explore at your leisure. Later, see the sights of the city on foot.
Day 18 : International return flight
Transfer to the airport for your return flight. Your return flight will arrive the same day.
Day 1-3 Beijing
Arrive in Beijing at any time. On the first day we have not planned any events. On Day 2 visit some of the top attractions of Beijing and the surrounding area on this guided group tour. You’ll have the opportunity to walk along the Great Wall, marvel at the Royal Palace and other sites in the Forbidden City and stop to see Tiananmen Square.

Day 3-5 Xi`an
Travel by high speed comfortable train to Xian (5h). On the Day 4 uncover the mysterious mask of the eighth world wonder, the Terracotta Warriors. Feast your eyes on over 7,000 terracotta sculptures, an army ready for battle and explore one of the greatest archaeological discoveries in the world.

Day 5-7 Shanghai
Flight to Shanghai. In the evening explore the local restaurant scene of Shanghai on a 3-hour food tasting tour of the city center. Sample more than 15 traditional dishes from Shanghai on a 3-hour food tasting tour of the Yunnan Road. Try some of the best dumpling soup in the city and indulge your sweet tooth at a dessert store. On Day 6 explore the highlights of Shanghai, visit local markets, and the trendy Xintiandi district.

Day 7-9 Hong Kong
Flight to Hong Kong. In the evening cruise along the coastal lines of Hong Kong and Kowloon Peninsula, see the the sparkling night city filled with skyscrapers and dazzling neon lights. Enjoy the famous the Symphony of Lights Cruise with unlimited drinks. On Day 8 get scenic photos of the city's famous Victoria Harbor view at Sky Terrace 428 after riding the Peak Tram on this city tour. Visit an ancient fishing village to get to know old Hong Kong and shop for souvenirs at Stanley Market.
