Itinerary: Barcelona, Madrid & Lisbon

Day 1 Welcome to Barcelona!

Welcome to Barcelona, Spain’s Catalonian Capital! On arrival, you’ll be met by your English-speaking driver and transferred by luxury car to your hotel for the next 3 nights. The remainder of the day is yours at leisure, to begin exploring the city!

Start your Spanish adventure off by heading to Barcelona's famous Magic Fountain, which celebrates the city every evening with a dazzling water show filled with color, music, and water that dances along with the beat.

Day 2 Barcelona

Following breakfast, embark on a private 2-hour tour of Barcelona!

Today is a great day to explore some of architect Antoni Gaudí's famous works in the city. Spend the afternoon at the whimsical Park Güell, or experience the surreal Casa Milà

In the evening, head to Barcelona's famous beaches for a leisurely stroll & freshly-caught bite!

Day 3 Barcelona

Today you’ll join a guided tour of the Sagrada Familia – a Christian temple and the most famous and spectacular of Gaudí’s works. Unfortunately he died before finishing the work (he is buried here, in the crypt), which continues to this day.

After reveling in awe at the majestic temple, head to Las Ramblas and navigate through the famous tree-lined street. Pass by street performers, flower stalls, and artists peddling their latest wares; reach the bustling Boqueria market and stop in for a bite - the perfect way to spend your last night in the Catalonian capital.

Day 4 Barcelona - Madrid

After breakfast, make your way to the train station in Barcelona, to pick up the high-speed train to Madrid. A mere 4 hours later, you will be there! Check in to your hotel, and enjoy the remainder of the day and evening at leisure.

Spend your first night in Spain's capital by heading to a local tapas bar and sampling the flavors of España. La Latina is a bustling neighborhood known for its overabundance of tapas bars and cocktail lounges!

Day 5 Madrid

In the morning, following your buffet breakfast, you’ll be taken on a 2-hour private tour of Madrid, by luxury car with an English-speaking driver.

After your tour, head to the picturesque Retiro Park until you stumble upon it's most stunning secret: the Palacio de Cristal, a crystal palace housing exotic plant life!

In the evening, head to the city's most vibrant square, Puerta de Sol. The streets will be alive with lights, street performers, and locals heading to their favorite tapas bars for a snack before starting the evening's festivities.

Day 6 Madrid

Explore on your own today! You may want to pay a visit to Madrid's famous Museum Triangle today, a crossroads where three important art museums await exploration.

Pay a visit to the Prado Museum, home to masterworks of Goya, Velazquez and El Greco; or fans of surrealism can visit the Reina Sofia Art Center, showcasing more than 300 modern works by Dali, Miro, and Picasso among others.

Tonight you will be treated to an authentic flamenco show!

Day 7 Madrid - Lisbon

At the appropriate time, you will be met at your hotel and transferred to the airport for your flight to Lisbon. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Once settled, why not hop on Lisbon's famous Tram 28 and get a glimpse of the city's most vibrant neighborhods, from Baixa to Bairro Alto to Graca.

After your tour, head to the picturesque Alfama neighborhood, Lisbon's oldest district. Hike through its hilly, narrow, cobblestone streets and enjoy tons of quaint shops, cozy cafes, and traditional Fado clubs.
