Buenos Aires is bursting at the seams with bold buildings, European energy, and bustling boulevards on this Independence by Globus South American tour. Walk down the world’s widest avenue where the Colon Theater and Plaza de Mayo burst onto the scene. From the exciting enclave of La Boca to the old district of San Telmo, you can shop ‘til you drop and dine on the deliciousness of dozens of local cafes. Linger in the legendary Recoleta Cemetery where Argentina’s legendary First Lady Evita Perón rests in peace, and then join the land of the living with a lively Tango show. Spend some well-deserved I-time on the Tigre River or taking a turn at making your own empanadas. Horse around with gauchos on an Argentinian estancia where ranch life is alive and kicking. Day 1: Buenos Aires
Arrival at Buenos Aires airport and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure
Day 2: Buenos Aires – City tour + Dinner & Tango Show
During the morning visit the city of Buenos Aires. This tour gives you the emotion of a multiple Buenos Aires. We will see the symbol of our city: the obelisk. We will visit different squares such as Plaza de Mayo, Plaza San Martín, Plaza Congreso. Avenues like Corrientes, Mayo, 9 de Julio, among others. Historical neighbourhoods: La Boca, San Telmo, Montserrat. Elegant neighbourhoods such as Palermo and Recoleta, and the most modern: Puerto Madero. Parks such as Lezama and Tres de Febrero. We will also visit financial and commercial areas and a Football Stadium.
Enjoy a dinner with the best National and International dishes in companion of a wonderful tango show. The dinner always includes starter, main course, dessert and drinks.
Day 3: Buenos Aires – Day at Estancia
Our today excursion is outside the city. During our trip the landscape changes, we are in the Pampa Region. Our guides will explain everything about the region and the Gaucho’s life until we get to the Estancia. The Gauchos welcome us to their Estancia. After arrival, you will enjoy a reception where you will be able to taste and try our so typical empanadas, juices and wines. You can go horse-riding and enjoy beautiful rides in colonial carriages. At midday we will have a delicious lunch that consists on our typical barbecue with many salads and drinks (sodas, water, beer and wine – The food and drinks are unlimited) and while you eat you can enjoy a folk dance show. During the afternoon many exhibitions will take place: Cuadreras Races, Ring Races and troop rides. At the end of the day we will have a typical brunch with pastelitos and mate.
Day 4: Buenos Aires
Day at leisure to discover this amazing city by your own or enjoy some suggested optional excursion.
Day 5: Buenos Aires
Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
Day 1: ARRIVE IN BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA
• Arrive in Buenos Aires, the “Paris of South America.” This cosmopolitan city is constantly aglow with European-influenced culture, vibrant sounds and sights, and a distinctly Latin vibe.

Day 2: BUENOS AIRES
• After breakfast, your private tour takes you along the widest avenue in the world to see the Teatro Colón Opera House, the pride of Buenos Aires. You’ll also visit the Avenida de Mayo and Plaza de Mayo, surrounded by La Casa Rosada (the President’s Pink House), and the Cabildo, which was the first City Hall. Visit the Metropolitan Cathedral, which houses San Martin’s Mausoleum. Continue to the oldest district in Buenos Aires, San Telmo, then stop by vibrant La Boca and Palermo. Finish your city tour with a visit to Recoleta Cemetery, burial site of Eva Perón and a highlight of the city. • This evening, you may opt to enjoy dinner and a traditional Tango show—Argentina’s famed passionate dance.

Day 3: BUENOS AIRES
• Today is free to explore this extraordinary city. Consider an optional excursion to visit a traditional estancia (ranch) to experience the lifestyle of the gauchos, or cruise down the Tigre River surrounded by beautiful landscapes and impressive homes.
(Breakfast)Today’s I-Time Tips Estancias date back to the 16th century during Spanish colonization when conquistadors where gifted land to raise and breed cattle. Today, these lands and traditions that go along with them have been passed down from generation to generation. Today, you have the chance to step into the traditional, local life of a gaucho and embrace Argentinean heritage during an optional trip to an estancia.
